Molly was raised and born in Pennsylvania. She began her professional life at the age of thirteen, at the Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. She portrayed Little Red Ridinghood shortly after in the Arden Theater s Into the Woods production, for which she won the Barrymore Award nomination. In 2002, she played the role of Little Red Ridinghood in Into the Woods in Broadway when she was 15, and earned a Drama League Award nomination. Molly was also part of the Broadway revival Fiddler on the Roof, in the year 2004. Then she attended Princeton University where she was a member of the Triangle Club and graduated in 2008 with an B.A. in Religion. In college, Molly began her acting career in Disney College Road Trip playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly was able to begin her professional career after graduation with Off-Broadway productions including End Days and The Wonderful Maladys at HBO Pilot. Molly has starred in several regional shows, such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with the Barrington Stage Company and North Shore Music Theatre in the year 2008 as well as Westport Country Playhouse s 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank in which she played Anne. Molly is best known for her part in the film Paranormal Activity 2 in which she plays teenage daughter Ali as well as the ABC comedy written by Jack Burditt and starring Tim Allen entitled Last Man Standing
