Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5th, 1964 in New York in the U.S.A. She is an American actress known for portraying strong but vulnerable characters. Linney came from a theatre-loving family. Her father, Romulus Linney was a writer. Linney studied at the Arts Theatre School at Moscow, then graduated with her M.F.A. from Juilliard School. New York City, 1990. She was in New York City when she began her Broadway career. She was praised for both Hedda Gabrieller and Six Degrees of Separation.
